Pokémon HOME has received an exciting update. A new Pokémon Guidebook feature [starting with version 3.2.2] allows Trainers to access comprehensive information about various Pokémon species. This includes Pokédex entries, types, sizes, forms, and more. Notably, this information is available regardless of whether the Pokémon has been registered in one’s National Pokédex.
The Guidebook also helps Trainers identify which games feature specific Pokémon, aiding in Pokédex completion efforts. This feature proves particularly useful for dedicated collectors and completionists.
In addition to the Guidebook, Trainers now have the opportunity to obtain a Shiny Meloetta. To receive this rare Pokémon, one must complete the following Pokédexes:
- Blueberry Pokédex
- Paldea Pokédex
- Kitakami Pokédex
After completing these Pokédexes, Trainers should confirm their completion in the Games tab of Pokémon HOME. It’s worth noting that those who have already completed these Pokédexes remain eligible for the Shiny Meloetta.
To claim Mystery Gifts like Shiny Meloetta, Trainers must have a linked Nintendo Account. Each Mystery Gift is limited to one per Nintendo Account, ensuring fairness in distribution.
These updates to Pokémon HOME demonstrate The Pokémon Company’s commitment to enhancing the Trainer experience and rewarding dedicated players with unique opportunities.
Faq About Shiny Meloetta

- The Paldea Region Pokédex (400 species)
- The Kitakami Region Pokédex (200 species)
- The Blueberry Academy Pokédex
After fulfilling these requirements, the Shiny Meloetta can be claimed via the Mystery Gift function within the Pokémon HOME app.

The exact end date for this promotion has not been officially announced. Trainers are advised to complete their Pokédexes and claim their Shiny Meloetta as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this rare opportunity.
Are Shiny Meloetta appearances limited to specific events?
Yes, Shiny Meloetta is typically not available through regular gameplay. This Pokémon HOME promotion marks the first time it has been widely distributed to trainers who meet specific criteria.
Can Shiny Meloetta be encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
No, Shiny Meloetta cannot be directly encountered or caught in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. However, these games are crucial for obtaining Shiny Meloetta as completing their Pokédexes is a requirement for the Pokémon HOME promotion.
Is it possible to get Shiny Meloetta after the event concludes?
